Peer Review Process
Pendiri: Jurnal Riset Pendidikan implements a double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality and integrity of every article published. Each manuscript submitted will go through the following selection and assessment stages:
1. Initial Review by the Editor
After the manuscript is submitted through the OJS system, the editor will conduct an initial review to assess the article's alignment with the journal's focus and scope, as well as to ensure the completeness of the writing elements and compliance with the manuscript submission guidelines.
2. Plagiarism Check
All manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software (such as Turnitin or iThenticate). Articles with a similarity level exceeding the tolerance limit (maximum 25%) will be returned to the author for revision or rejected.
3. Review by Peer Reviewers
Articles that pass the initial selection will be sent to two peer reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. The review process is conducted double-blind (the author and reviewers do not know each other's identities) to ensure objectivity in the assessment.
Reviewers will assess the following aspects:
- Novelty and contribution of the research
- Clarity of objectives and methodology
- Quality of analysis and discussion
- Relevance of literature
- Structure and writing style
4. Editorial Decision
Based on the review results, the editor will decide one of four possibilities:
- Accepted without revision
- Accepted with minor revisions
- Major revisions
- Rejected
The author will be given time to make improvements based on the reviewers' comments. The revisions will be re-evaluated by the editor or reviewers before the final decision is made.
5. Manuscript Editing and Publication
Articles that have been accepted will enter the final editing stage (copyediting and layouting) before being published online on the journal's website.
