Pemberdayaan Masyarakat melalui Pelatihan Pengolahan Limbah Kulit Pisang Bernilai Ekonomis di Kelurahan Rabangodu Selatan Kota Bima

Pemanfaatan limbah kulit pisang di Kelurahan Rabangodu Selatan, Kota Bima, belum dilakukan secara optimal karena keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah sumber daya lokal. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan praktis, dan kesadaran ekonomi masyarakat melalui pelatihan pengolahan kulit pisang menjadi produk pangan bernilai jual. Program ini menerapkan metode Participatory Action Learning (PAL) yang meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, sosialisasi, praktik pembuatan produk, dan pendampingan berkelanjutan. Keberhasilan program dievaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test, lembar observasi keterampilan, serta angket skala Likert untuk mengukur persepsi peserta terhadap nilai ekonomi produk. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pengetahuan peserta meningkat dari 45% menjadi 84%. Peningkatan tersebut juga diikuti oleh kemampuan peserta dalam mengolah kulit pisang menjadi keripik dan nugget. Program pemberdayaan berbasis ekonomi sirkular ini efektif meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dalam mengubah limbah menjadi produk produktif dan bernilai ekonomi. Kegiatan ini juga berkontribusi terhadap penguatan ekonomi lokal serta mendukung upaya pelestarian lingkungan.
