Abstrak

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat sosial dan emosional anak melalui pendampingan kegiatan seni gambar berbasis komunitas di Kelurahan Dodu. Latar belakang pengabdian ini berangkat dari keterbatasan aktivitas nonformal yang mampu memfasilitasi interaksi sosial dan ekspresi emosional anak secara aman dan partisipatif. Pengabdian dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan penguatan prinsip Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), yang menempatkan anak dan komunitas sebagai subjek aktif serta memanfaatkan aset sosial yang ada. Program diikuti oleh 20 anak usia 6–12 tahun dan dilaksanakan dalam empat kali pertemuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi terstruktur, catatan reflektif pengajar, wawancara singkat dengan orang tua, serta penilaian pra dan pasca pendampingan terhadap indikator sosial-emosional anak. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada indikator interaksi sosial, kepercayaan diri, ekspresi emosi positif, dan partisipasi dalam kelompok setelah mengikuti pendampingan. Keberhasilan program dipengaruhi oleh desain kegiatan seni yang kolaboratif, pendekatan partisipatif, serta keterlibatan orang tua dan lingkungan masyarakat sebagai aset pendukung. Disimpulkan bahwa pendampingan kegiatan seni gambar berbasis PAR–ABCD efektif sebagai strategi penguatan perkembangan sosial dan emosional anak dan berpotensi direplikasi dalam program pendidikan nonformal berbasis komunitas.
